Itinerary
Day 1 Kuala Lumpur – Bangkok – Arrive Moscow (CD)
Depart to Moscow – the majestic city of Russia via Bangkok. Upon arrival at Moscow, transfer to join the exciting crowds at the Circus Show, one of the most famous circus show in Russia.
Day 2 Moscow (HB/CL/CD)
Start the day with panoramic sightseeing tour round Moscow city with photo stops. Firstly we explore the Metro Stations which Stalin called ‘places for the people’. After lunch, we bring you to the famous Arbat Street for fantastic Russian’s shopping! Then, we walk inside the walls of the Kremlin Fortress, to step at the Cathedral Square with its famous churches: St. Michael the Archangel, the Annunciation and the Assumption. Continue tour the legendary Red Square. Seeing the breathtaking St. Basil’s Cathedral and the Lenin’s Tomb. Finally, we end a totally wonderful day to shop in the GUM Department Store.
Day 3 Moscow – Overnight train to St. Petersburg (HB/WL/CD)
This morning, we depart an excursion tour to Sergiev Posad. First we will visit to St. Sergiy, Trinity Laura – the sacred monastery founded by Sergiy Radonezhsky. The buildings were built during the time of Ivan the Terrible. We can admire the most famous works of the greatest Russian icon-artist, Andrey Rublev. Return to Moscow and enjoy a romantic cruise ride on the Moskva River with Russian lunch (Subject to weather condition). Tonight we take an overnight sleeper train from Moscow to St. Petersburg (1st class cabin-2 person in one cabin).
Day 4 Arrive St. Petersburg (HB/CL/CD)
Early Morning, we arrives St. Petersburg and we will take you to the city that is created by Peter the Great; this city was made the capital of all the Russia. Our sightseeing tours show us to St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the fortress of St. Peter and Paul, Decembrist’s Square, the elegant Nevsky Prospect Boulevard and the great cathedral of Kazan. Continue our day to visit the Hermitage – Winter Palace. Known as the former residence of Russian tsars and one of the world’s greatest museums, housing a fabulous collection of paintings and objects D’art. Next, we shall see the memorial to the Nazi siege of Lenningrad during World War II and the cruiser ‘Aurora’ at anchor on the Neva River, whose crew signaled the outset of the Russian Revolution.
Day 5 St. Petersburg (HB/WL/CD)
Today we will visit the fabulous gardens and fountains of Peter the Great’s summer residence at Petrodvorets – For over 200 years Petrodvorets was used for official ceremonies, lavish feasts and formal receptions. This evening, why not join an optional tour to the world famous ballet performance by the world re-known Kirov Ballet.
Day 6 St. Petersburg – Flight to Moscow – Bangkok – Kuala Lumpur (HB)
After breakfast, free until transfer to airport for your domestic flight to Moscow. Continue connecting the international flight back home.
Day 7 Arrive Kuala Lumpur with wonderful Russian memories!
